MAXIM Office Park could create 8,000 new jobs Iain Gray, Scottish Labour Leader, said that MAXIM Office Park is continuing to attract companies from Scotland as well as further afield. The park is currently the biggest being built in the UK, and is expected to create as many as 8,000 new jobs when it is finished in 2010. The park will be strategically located in between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The mixed use scheme has already signed up some major tenants - Prime Time Nurseries, Baguette Express and Massimo Restaurants. Three of the office buildings will be ready this month.
Commenting on his visit to MAXIM Scottish Labour Leader Iain Gray MSP said:
“It is a real boost to the economy in Lanarkshire and Glasgow to have Scotland’s newest office park situated here especially when it is expected to offer up to 8000 jobs.” Karen Campbell, CEO of MAXIM, said that the park put Scotland on the map as a place to do business and that she was pleased to be playing an active role in attracting international companies as well as inward investment."
