Hunter takes on Eurocentral office role Fund manager David Hunter has been appointed as chairman of the UK's largest speculative office scheme at the Eurocentral site in Lanarkshire, outside Glasgow. The Glasgow-based former managing director of Arlington Property Investors will take a lead role in the development of the £330m, 756,000 sq ft Maxim scheme at Eurocentral. Hunter is also a previous MD of Aberdeen Property Investors, chairman of the Scottish Property Federation and set up his own consultancy, Hunter Advisers, in 2005.

He said: "Private investment of this magnitude is unheard of in the current marketplace and to be part of the creation of a new business hub is a major attraction. "Tenants at Maxim will be offered much more than merely a workplace: we will be ensuring that it offers a quality lifestyle to all those who work there. I know from my experience at Chiswick Park that increasingly this attracts the highest quality tenants."

Maxim will offer ten buildings of between 58,600 sq ft and 186,500 sq ft on the former Chunghwa Picture Tubes site, all of which are due for completion by 2010. The first two buildings are due to complete in December.
